Ocean Culture Life: World Oceans Day
At the core of OCL's initiatives is World Oceans Day. This event serves as an annual celebration of our beautiful blue planet, whilst also raising awareness about the challenges that face it. OCL's annual event provides an inclusive space where people can unite to appreciate the beauty and significance of the ocean.
Ocean Culture Life
One Week Dedicated to the Ocean
In June 2024, OCL successfully hosted a week-long series of events in Jersey, in recognition of World Ocean Day. As the voice of the ocean, OCL brought together community members, experts, and ocean enthusiasts to celebrate ocean conservation and inspire action.
OCL's mission is to translate awareness into tangible actions, leveraging the power of storytelling and collaboration for positive environmental change. They empower individuals to take concrete steps toward ocean preservation, recognising the need for both understanding and action to protect these vital ecosystems.
